What is FD Plus?
Fairfax Digital is creating a number of new communities, bring together rich aggregated networks of websites, capitalizing on its ability to deliver the most highly engaged audiences and content to our consumers and advertisers.
Focusing on 4 key networks, FD Plus will bring together sites that align closely with core Fairfax Digital brands, capitalizing on our ability to deliver the most highly engaged audiences and content to our consumers and advertisers.
What networks do you have?
Essential Baby
Essential Baby has established itself as one of the largest and most engaging Australian parenting communities, providing information from conception to toddlerhood, with almost 150,000 members and generating an average of 10,000 posts per day. Essential Baby's core appeal to consumers is around providing the latest news and providing an area where consumers can building friends and receive support and advice. The EB network of sites will bring further depth to this offering from a consumer side, and provide advertisers with a unique way to reach this unique group of women.
Primary audience target - Grocery buyers with children, female skew
Life & Style
L&S builds a community around rich content areas from home and style to beauty, people, entertainment, shopping and fashion. Capitalizing on the success of the L&S sections across the mastheads, the L&S network will bring together the latest in quality, up to date information, photos and video content to satisfy the huge appetite this largely female audience has demanded.
Primary audience target - Females across a range of demographics, predominantly AB skew
My Small Business
Bring together a unique group of sites focused around entrepreneurial individuals managing smaller companies, the My Small Business network is focused around aggregating quality content and resources. Why vertical networks?
While there are networks and aggregators in the market already, niche vertical networks are a new concept and an exciting opportunity for advertisers to work with Fairfax Digital.
FD Plus brings together sites that align closely with core Fairfax Digital brands, making it easy for advertisers to extend their campaigns onto high quality smaller sites that weren't previously accessible through one buying point.
Is FD Plus a performance network?
While FDO will run on the networks as a third tier filler option, the networks are predominantly focused on contextual and behavioural advertising opportunities, bringing access to customers in hard to reach segments.
Is FD Plus a blind buy?
