What is FD Plus?
Fairfax Digital is creating a number of new communities, bring together rich aggregated networks of websites, capitalizing on its ability to deliver the most highly engaged audiences and content to our consumers and advertisers.
Focusing on 4 key networks, FD Plus will bring together sites that align closely with core Fairfax Digital brands, making it easy for advertisers to extend their campaigns onto smaller sites that previously weren't accessible through one buying point.
What networks are included?
Essential Baby
Essential Baby has established itself as one of the largest and most engaging Australian parenting communities, providing information from conception to toddlerhood, with almost 150,000 members and generating an average of 10,000 posts per day. Essential Baby's core appeal to consumers is around providing the latest news and providing an area where consumers can building friends and receive support and advice. The EB network of sites will bring further depth to this offering from a consumer side, and provide advertisers with a unique way to reach this unique group of women.
Life & Style
L&S builds a community around rich content areas from home and style to beauty, people, entertainment, shopping and fashion. Capitalizing on the success of the L&S sections across the mastheads, the L&S network will bring together the latest in quality, up to date information, photos and video content to satisfy the huge appetite this largely female audience has demanded.
My Small Business

What ad formats/sizes can I use?
The FD Plus networks source image and rich media banner advertising using industry standard ad sizes. We require that you place at least 2 of these ad spaces on your site with at least one above the fold.
The standard sizes are:
Medium rectangle 300x250
Leaderboard 728x90
Wide skyscraper 160x600
What type of advertisers does the Network work with?
Fairfax Digital has one of the most established sales teams in the Australian advertising market and works with all top line advertisers. Our reputation is for delivering quality results through our highly engaged and valuable audience offerings.
Can I continue to use other ad providers?
FD Plus networks can be non-exclusive, so you can continue to use other advertising solutions while testing our solution and allowing us to prove our value to you. Our platform's redirect capability makes it easy for you to redirect your impressions to another server by simply inserting the other provider's ad code into your account. If you have your own ad server, simply place your tags on top of the waterfall.
Do I have control over the pricing for my ads?
Yes. Our online platform allows you to set pricing minimums for all incoming campaigns. You can choose to auto-accept campaigns based on your pricing settings, or even choose to manually preview each campaign and creative as they are offered to you within a set turn around period.
How will you sell the advertising space on my site?
FD Plus will bundle your advertising inventory with that from other sites on the network with similar content to create inventory packages for advertisers to buy.
We propose a range of campaigns, from run of network banner campaigns to more customized and out of the box promotions. We allow you to set your own minimum pricing so we know at which rates to sell your inventory.
Can I choose what ads appear on my site?
You will be able to preview every campaign and creative, and accept or reject them. You can also automatically reject ads by keyword or click-through URL.
Do I have control over the pricing for my ads?
Yes. The Adify system allows you to set your own rate card, including minimum pricing for advertising appearing on your site. In addition, you may decide to manually review new campaigns offered and check creative before approving advertising to run. You remain in complete control of advertising appearing on your site.
How much does it cost to join?

What is the minimum monthly impression level to join?
FD Plus does not require a monthly impression minimum. Â Most of our sites, however, receive more than 5,000 impressions per month.
How long is my contract with the network?
FD Plus will request a 12 month period however either party can terminate within this term as per the terms and conditions.
Do you require exclusivity in your contracts?
No, FD Plus is non-exclusive, so you may continue to use other ad providers if you wish, or allocate all your standard display inventory to us to montise on your behalf.
Is there a minimum age requirement for participation?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the FD Plus opportunity.

How do I apply to the network?
To apply to one of our networks simply click on one of the relevant links below to be directed to our application page. After you have applied, we will review your application and notify you via email if you have been accepted.

How long does the application process take?
It typically takes one week to review a publisher application.
Can I apply with more than one site?
No. We are building strong communities with a quality content and audience alignment, so we would prefer to have publishers be part of the network that is the best fit rather than being a part of multiple networks.
Getting Paid
When do I get paid?
The FD Plus networks operate on a 60 day payment cycle provided that payment has been received from the advertiser. Payments will be distributed at the earliest opportunity to your nominated bank account.
How do I get paid?
Our technology and services provider, Adify, will pay you by the method of your choice; either via wire transfer or PayPal.
How much money will I make?
The amount of money you will make is contingent upon your site's traffic, the quality of your site, and the placement of your advertising. FD Plus can help you improve all these things, therefore helping you to increase your revenue.

What is Adify?
Adify is FD Plus's ad network management technology and services partner. Adify provides the platform, ad serving, and payment services for the Essential Baby, My Small Business, Digital Life and Life & Style networks
How do I login?
Login to your account at https://go.adify.com/. Simply enter your user ID and password.
What should I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, click the 'Problems signing in?' link on the sign-in page. You will be prompted to answer your security question and reset your password.
What should I do if I forget my user ID?
Contact Adify at help@adify.com or 1 877 GO-ADIFY (1 877 462 3439 / outside the US: +1 650 392 6200). Adify's Customer Support team will validate your account and provide you with your user ID over the phone.
